I know many marines. None of which acted like that. When I first saw him in the movie, before I even knew who he was, pretty much everyone watching agreed, the guy was creepy. It may have been the actor, it may have been Stone's direction. I don't know. He seemed normal after he found the guys.

Watched A Scanner Darkly last night.
Decent. I give it a c+/b-. I am glad they didn't try that half cartoon element with Blade Runner. (Both are Phillip K Dick adaptations)
