"No Country For Old Men"......(filmed mostly in New Mexico near Taos),pure Cohen brothers all the way. Probably looks great on a big screen.
Will it be a classic like "Pulp Fiction"?
I absolutely loved it, and yes, it looked great on the big screen, but it doesn't have the far-reaching appeal to be a classic like 'Pulp Fiction'. Personally, I like 2 other Coen Bros. films better...'Fargo' and 'O Brother Where Art Thou?'.

Ironman

I took my 5 year old to see Ironman on Sunday.

First, even though it is a comic book movie, it is not really just a kids movie. However, it has great special effects.

Second, I thought Robert Downey Jr. may have been miscast as a "super-hero" when I walked into the theater. I was dead wrong.

This is a classic good vs. evil movie. The main character is smug, egocentric, and tough as nails at the beginning. Then circumstances force him to grow a heart. (in more ways than one) Robert Downey is very good in this role. Jeff Bridges is the perfect villian as well. Gweneth Paltrow is cast as "Pepper Potts" who is the eventual love interest. I have always thought Gweneth Paltrow was very nice looking. But in this movie she is beautiful, subtle and sexy, and plays this role with typical class.
Yes, I love the red hair and freckles.

This is not a must-see, but it is worth a look.

Why do they have 12 hours of previews and ads before the movie?
The Lexus commercial was totally obnoxious every 5 seconds. I don't think I would drive it now if they gave me one. Yes, I love to exaggerate.

When Downey was cast in this part alot of people thought it was perfect. This will grow more true (and ironic) as the next movies play out (or atleast that is the hope from the Ironman fans). Cuz part of the Ironman story is Stark battling himself and his addictions which makes Downey a very perfect fit for the role.
