10 Categories in each??? DAMN! Never been in a league with that many... might be fun! I assume "H" means Hits and "HLD" means Holds? Oh fun fun!


We do have to figure out what times people want a live draft. I can handle the 1pmPST/4pmEST draft time but I will probable miss the first 2-3 rounds (of course that might be the easiest to auto pick eh?)

I'd be happy to join, but I'd need the draft to be later Friday night (probably after 7) or Saturday or Sunday. If everyone else wants earlier, that's fine...I can skip. Please post the final decision so I can see.

I tried to get a league together on Tuesday, but it didn't work out. I ended up deleting the league and making a new one set to draft next Tuesday (April 5th)at 7pm EST. I know a few games will already have been played, but what's 2 games in a season? It's a head-to-head league with the stadard 5x5 roto setup. I'd really like to be in this league with all OSU fans, but I can't draft until next Tuesday. Will this work for anybody or am I out of luck???

Okay, we have six teams out of twelve in there.

The draft time is still kinda up in the air. I have:

After 7 for bucklion
Stay as it is for bn27
A little later for Piney (though he doesn't care too much)
I don't care.
Next week for that new guy :biggrin:

We need six more teams.

JUST SIGN UP. we'll figure out the time today. If nothing else, just rank your players, it takes the same amount of time as doing it live - though not as fun. . .

Oh, and I am thinking of switching it to head-to-head just because it makes smack-talk better. :biggrin:

Everyone needs to prerank just in case. I have never actually drafted for baseball. I just get up one day and find out who I got. It's like a shitty Christmas usually. But I didn't want Griffey Jr. :p

Okay, we have 12 (and stragglers unforunately).

We NEED to pick a draft time. It is currently 4:00 Friday.

Please, all 12 respond and pick a better time. 4 have already e-mailed me with no-cares.

7? 7:30? keep it at 4?

I will bump tomorrow morning. . .

I have so far:

Piney: a little later than 4
BN27: 4
Bucklion: after 7

Okay, to ease this choose one of two:

keep at 4:00 friday

Change to 7:30 friday

I can do Sunday and any other time. So whatever happens is okay by me.

I am getting the feeling more timeslots might be gone by tomorrow, though I don't understand why yahoo would "fill up," so to speak.

Do 4pm Friday. If the people that can't do it don't feel comfortable ranking and letting the computer draft, since we have stragglers, then best to get out so those that can draft will be able to come in.

More importantly cuz I can't draft on Sunday since I will be in Seneca Niagara Casino playing poker :biggrin:

Okay, it is still at 4. Not much to do about it now.

I haven't ranked anyone - but a lot of people haven't. This will be a big season-management league. It's all about the trades and waivers. :)

Should I switch it from rotisserie to head to head? I think I am going to before the draft.

At least lower the categories... If I start tracking how many double plays someone hits into this year I might go insane. I just never liked negative categories. I don't mind expanded categories but 10 is too high. Bring it down to 7x7. This is my suggestion for stat categories.

HR-RBI-R-SB-AVE-SLG-OBP
W-L-SV-HLD-ERA-RAT-K

I actually wouldn't mind Roto style, if I had a vote that is what I would vote for. But I can be persuaded to go H2H
