Anyone see the Marx Brothers and WC Fields at the Orpheum in Columbus? I know 1915 wasn't just the other day, but the only time they played together. Fields claimed he broke his hand and left the tour. Only time he ever appeared with them.

Went to see Jason Isbell last night in Cleveland. I have seen him a few times and he always puts on a great show. The thing that baffles me is I would describe his albums as Americana, but he becomes straight rock during the live shows. It is amazing how he turns it up to 11 when performing live.

I went to the one in Huber on Saturday. I think he's going through something and wants to be a rock and roll star overall. Way more gratuitous solos than at previous shows of his I've seen. Nothing wrong with that, as I think he's a pretty solid guitar player in general.

Saw one of my fav local acts last weekend at House of Blues.

Totally a fun show. Some of you may know them, a couple of their songs have been picked up for video games and some things have broken nationally, albeit not hugely.

Have 3-day VIP passes for Riot Fest in a couple of weeks. Saw Lucky Boys as well as going to Riot Fest with the eldest kiddo… who is no longer a kiddo (married and a kid of his own). At 54, this Riot Fest is likely my last marathon festival… I’m surprised how well I held up in the pit for Lucky Boys, but I was a bit sore the following day. It’s a drag getting old.

Picked up some tickets for NIN this summer. Looking forward to that show!
Cleveland is memorial day weekend. Ugh. That's inconvenient for me!

I'm not super sure 52 Year ol akak and 59 year old Trent are up for this in a meaningful way. In our 20's? Sure those concerts were fun.

Anyway, probably fits better in this thread than movies but going to see becoming les Zeppelin today in IMAX. Hopefully the concert footage is good and mostly new to me

I did not even realize it fell on Labor Day weekend until you just mentioned it. I will say he was great a few years ago when he played at Blossom. Apparently the drugs he took helped keep him young;-)
