That kid is/was a dirtbag. And he's now a scholarship player at Pitt. I'd wager dollars to donuts he doesn't last long there.Everybody who wants to be a football coach should have to watch the Kam Carter parts of the season before they officially agree to a contract to make sure that's really the career they want
Not getting along with your position coach is one thing, but it was clear his teammates didn't like him either. That's even more damning.
I've watched both seasons and man is it a fantastic show. It's not to see guy's like Dakota Allen and DeAndre Johnson bouncing back and being successful in life. Johnson made a mistake, but he sure seems like a great guy with a great support system. Kam Carter is an example of pure entitlement. The guy had a solid home growing up and didn't want for anything, yet is so ill mannered. It's amazing how many players told him that wouldn't make it anywhere in life over the course of the season. I also liked Jay Johnson and Maleke Bell.
And yet he found his way onto a D-1 football team. Most likely due to his frame, and the possibilities of molding him into a disruptive force. Crazy.
I think I was most disappointed in Isaiah Wright. He looked so promising in the first season when he had the ball in his hand.If he truly was dealing with a nagging injury, continuing to play on it may have been one of the most detrimental things he could have done.
What happened to Wright, the way Buddy dealt with him, and his past were just hella deflating to me. [Mark May] made me sad, hope he rebounds at West Georgia
My thoughts exactly.Wright looked like the kind of player that could have excelled in a Curtis Samuel-type role.
