 Turd was the freakin worst at that. It used to crack me up. Turd was a pretty cool dude though. We went out for a couple of beers once when he first moved back to Ohio.
I heard his "escapades" were quite a bit overblown as I suspected.

Type A, driver personality.

If you have the money and the stomach you can rent a helicopter that will fly you all over the place at high speed including a trip to the Hoover damn. Everyone that has done it raves about it but some have almost lost their cookies.

Been to vegas 10-15 times. Two suggestions if you are not a big gambler as i am not either.... I rule at the sports book though.

You could easily spend an afternoon at/on Lake Mead. About a 45 minute drive and they have pontoon boats you can rent. Beautiful.

And if you like hiking/biking....I would suggest heading out to Red Rock Canyon for some more breathtaking western scenery.

AJ:

Alladen is very nice it is one of the newer hotel/casinos asside from the Wynn Resort which opens in April. There is plenty to take in without gambling. The pools, clubs, shows, people watching, restuants, ect. Definitely check out some of the other hotels and stay up late, vegas doesn't sleep. I usually start drinking too early and crash before i want.

Problem is, if you're not gambling, you end up having to buy your drinks.

At least when you gamble, booze is comp.

PM me if you would more info.

Thread hijack alert.

It is not my place to defend Turd and I have never met him. We did exchange emails and PM's while he was down here.
All I can say if you have never spent any time in BR or NOLA you would be surprised at the opportunities you would have to have exciting encounters as Turd described.

I left Ohio in the mid 80's and never looked back.
I am not a pretty boy but by having a certain level of confidence and a sense of humor I have not wanted for attractive female companionship.

I think Turd may be applying the baseball batting rule to dating. The more at bats the better your chances. Some guys can't handle rejection and some would never walk up to the best looking lady at the bar, party of where ever and ask her to dance, if she wanted a drink or for her phone number.

Maybe he embellished a bit but I suspect there is more truth there than many want to believe.

I am an old married man now. Turd reminds me of certain escapades I had while living on the road. It does happen.

Now back to Vegas. It happens in Vegas, but it usually costs more there.:)
