Davante Adams informs Raiders he would prefer to be traded

Davante Adams has let it be known that he'd like to leave Las Vegas.

Adams, one of the NFL's preeminent wide receivers, informed the Raiders on Monday he would prefer to be traded, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported Tuesday. There is no deal imminent, but it's definitely a situation to monitor, Rapoport and Garafolo added.
The league's trade deadline is Nov. 5 at 4 p.m. ET.

Davante Adams trade destinations: 6 prime landing spots plus 1 dark horse

Davante Adams is on the trade block.

There are multiple media reports that the Las Vegas Raiders are seeking to trade the three-time All-Pro in addition to a report that Adams wants out. Add in head coach Antonio Pierce's social media activity all but endorsing a trade, and Adams' exit from Las Vegas seems inevitable.

It appears it's just a matter of working out the details — the most important of which is finding a trade partner.

New York Jets

Dallas Cowboys

Buffalo Bills

Baltimore Ravens

Washington Commanders

Washington Commanders

Dark horse: Kansas City Chiefs

Davante Adams has two teams on top of his trade wish list

Davante Adams wants familiarity with his next team.

Adams, who requested a trade from the Raiders on Tuesday, is interested in joining the Jets and Saints, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Getting dealt to either of those teams would reunite Adams with one of his former quarterbacks — Aaron Rodgers in New York or Derek Carr in New Orleans.

He made his "business decision" and Antonio Pierce made his.

Although I don't blame him being he is 31, I still say good riddance.

Felt kinda inevitable after they traded Carr, surprised it took this long
The Raiders fucked him over. The fact that he didn't immediately demand a trade tells me he's more of a standup guy than the head coach who is using social media to gain attention like a 12 year old girl.

Yeah kind of ironic to call out a player for making business decisions when you’re shit-talking him in interviews and liking tweets about the problem. Not exactly convincing him he made the wrong decision to want out

He called out his "business decisions" prior to all of the other things you mentioned. These took place afterwards so your argument is moot. You're conflating things only to arrive at a false conclusion.

DIVAntae says he doesn't cause drama, except he does. He did this with his "business decisions" on the field. He also "liked" posts in the past of ARod tweeting about him coming to the Jets while a Raider.

I agree with AP liking the post about him wanting to be traded. AP made the correct "business decision" and the team played for him the game after DA's drama. Good riddance.

My point was that he is handling it like a clown. He could have been a professional, and he found himself liking posts on twitter.
