Not as bad as mine! I lost over 4000 pictures including 2 spring games, 2 Northwestern games & some of *ichigan from last year as well as the dogs & horse & the house I live in & a few other rolls! It's a sick feeling trust me!

No data so said could be retrieved from the hard drive either. It was sent to a place out west. I just wanted the photography I could care less about book work from my business that I shut down in April! I lost some good emails too!
Sorry to hear about the hard drive on your computer too,it is a sinking feeling.:(

What is a flash USB drive?

A flash memory USB drive, attached via a USB port, is a portable drive admitting from 128 Mb to 1 Gb of data. Flash USB drives being widespread nowadays, it is no wonder one may wish to use them to a full extent in today's everyday activities. It can be very useful for mobile users, who wish to always have the most up-to-date data with them, when going home from work, or visa versa, to be able to continue working on the same data wherever one goes.
How do I backup with a flash USB drive?

You can backup smaller portions of data to a flash memory USB drive, a process which is called 'USB backup'. Of course, as the USB drives are rather small (admitting up to 4 Gb for now), they have yet to be considered as a backup medium, but it is possible to backup a small set of files, like important documents, images, data files, etc to a fairly large flash memory drive for an extended time period. Using backup compression can drastically increase the amount of files which can be backed up using a flash memory drive.
