I saw Klatt wrote an article on this and my take of it is that he’s laying it all at Kiffin’s feet.

While Kiffin could say he’s not interested till the cows come home, that wouldn’t stop the media speculation. Nor, would it stop the interested schools from trying to flip him in recruiting terms.

This is as much on the schools firing coaches mid-season and pursuing the flavor of the month currently employed coach and the media.

I’m sure Klatt hasn’t talked about any of these openings and potential guys to fill them on his show.

I’ve always viewed LSU as a program that cares quite a bit about defense. But I guess the hot name can override that sensible position.

Tennessee and USC was pretty bad. He was good at FAU. He is the best coach ole miss has had in the last 50 years.

That said 3 of 4 good years had great schedule draws. They usually played 2-3 quality teams and lost to 2 of them, adding in a garbage loss and surprise win.
