Fully agreed. That game plan is what kept the game close for them, but Lane either over thought and complicated it, or just thought he would be overly confident. Either way, OSU won, fuck the Tide and especially their arrogant inbred fan base

I've been breaking down film for some posters on my home team message board. Going back and forth with some guys about the type of offense. My argument - if you run what you've been running to perfection, many can't stop it. Point in case:

Score by Henry:

Runs a fullback on zone blocking. Runs Henry off the boundary:

Score.

Is your daddy a well liked/respected long term defensive coordinator in the nfl? Cause i think that's an important part.

For all I know he could be (never known him)!

Maybe I should try coaching. After all, if my dad happens to be a great coach, that means I will be too...at some point...maybe...even though my work history doesn't suggest it.

As good as Eze was I was more afraid of Bama's power running game than I was confident in ours. If Bama's whole offensive gameplan was to pound the running game with Henry and Yeldon with an occasional jet sweep or PA bomb to Cooper I think they win the game. For the most part their OL was able to handle our front 7 in the power running game. Thank you Lane Kiffin you glorious bastard.
It's Bama's own fault for simply trying to buy a dream team coaching staff instead of using their brains and finding a smart OC who understands how Bama wins games. Henry did have some success against the defense, but the Buckeyes did get some stops on him too. Returns would have diminished if they had gone more with the run, so I think it's hard to say what would have happened.
