The reaction from Ole Miss writers is hysterical to me……they’ve embarrassed the hell outta themselves and, at least for me, made me hate them forever…

It’s Lane Kiffin…..what’d you expect when you hired him?? A week before he leaves you start calling him a “hoe”.

GTFO…..you hired him, enjoy the walk of shame now.
Yep. "He paid for an abortion!" "He kicked a puppy!" "He farted in church!"

You all knew this 3 weeks ago and couldn't have been happier to hide it.

Nah...sorry man I can't agree with you here. Ole Miss was in a lose lose situation. If Kiffin leaves like he did, you're having to promote a bunch of people mid-season during a playoff run.

If you allow him to stay even knowing that he's done afterward, and you get something like what Ped State is seeing with their recruiting class and what will be an epic escape via the transfer portal. They likely felt that the risk wasn't worth the reward - especially since ole miss is almost certainly going to go a bit backwards record-wise next year either way.

Joey Freshwater left while the gettin was good.
They will get that anyway.
