STI ? That was an exspensive fall if so.

The mechanic says he has a spare shift lever he may be able to swap out...I'll find out for sure later today. I'm going to try and start riding my turbo trainer Thursday. Gotta get back in the saddle, albeit stationary.

More specifically they're accusing him of violating protocol when random testers showed up at his hotel and he took a shower (with their permission) while Armstrong's team checked their credentials.

This is stupid. If he actually has been doping all of this time do they really think they're going to catch him on some stupid supposed ruse like this after all the sophisticated stuff he'd have to do to come up clean on all of his other tests?

Lance is in Cape Town to cycle the Argus Tour (link), one of the world's top cycle races. Gabriella Sabbitini is in town for the race as well. Don't know which other celebrities are cycling. Matt Damon posted a respectable time last year.

From Armstrong's Twitter page: Golfed with @college9 today. On one tee I couldn't find my ball. I said, "you take my ball college?" He replied, "no, cancer did."

Seems to be having a great time, if you read his Twitter page (link). Lance in my neighborhood:

Nice picture from the top of Green Point of the new World Cup Soccer Stadium. See anything you remember, Shetuck?

That stadium is awesome. I really only get excited to watch Soccer in the world cup, similar to how I only like to watch Hockey in the Olympics.

It really is awesome. The seating inside has a wave form, see this site and you'll see what I mean (link).

Back to Lance. They just reported on radio that he charged people $20,000 just to ride with him once or to stay in the same hotel. Typical, eh? Ugly American, eh?

No! He donated every bit to cancer research in South Africa and spent the morning at the cancer ward at Grotte Schuur Hospital (where the first heart transplant was done).

This man is a real class act and great ambassador for America. People here are in love with him.

Not even close to being on topic, but the mention of Sabatini reminded me of something I've always meant to ask you, Steve. Is Amanda Coetzer still an active public figure in SA? She was always one of my favorites. Such a cutie!

They have been trying to prove doping for years. Nobody has done it.
And without his losing so much body mass from the cancer, he may never have become the multi-Tour winner he is. Time is running out on his accusers. And with his retirement from the Tour, he may never be proven guilty.
Even though I think it's likely he doped , I don't think they'll ever prove he did.
