Just got back from the 7 on 7 FINAL practice/scrimmage....

I got to sit with a kid in the stands who goes to STA, Vladimir Rock....WR/CB from STA. Very nice kid who told me that Coach Carter is not leaving STA until their STAR WR graduates.

During warm ups...Joyner came up and greeted Vlad......I guess he did not want to be rude and extended is hand and greeted me.

Now the juicy stuff.....Joyner's play....that's why I was there. He has excellent hands for a kid his age off the line....you can tell someone is teaching him technique. VERY physical off the line of scrimmage....will punch a WR in the chest off the line and stay with him. Had a very nice long deep ball break up. He can play man 2 man ANYDAY against ANYONE. He's about 5'8 and very well built in the shoulders, like a brick. #1 player in state....by far.

Jaamal Berry was also there.....at the end of practice as i was leaving i see a kid on crutches....and it's JB...as he walked by me I gave him the OH......and I heard the IO. ( don't know if it was him or the kid next to him that said IO) I was walking away myself.

Uncle Genron187 was also there coaching the defense.....But...Yes...I chickened out and did not greet him. LOL

Dang buckw why didnt halla. I would have went over there. I figured that was you with Vlad crazy self sitting over there. You left quick b/c i was looking for you afterward. Yeah Jamaal just had some scar tissue removed he told me and he'll be alright.

uh oh, just when I thought was had a very short list, things just got more interesting. Today USC offered and totally out of left field. I've spoken with the coaches and they are for real. I'm like dang, USC as well. Only other big schools are Texas and OK. I personally think more offers need not apply. There's no need to be greedy and the short list we have is pretty stacked already.

I can't say I'm surprised by this offer. I expect every top program to offer Lamarcus, he has earned it. I just hope he falls in love when he comes up here next month. USC is also a great program. So that makes Lamarcus' top five looks something like:
OSU, UF, Alabama, USC, Notre Dame...? Impressive.

USC's coaches are for real. I just read that article about the kid who signed with South Carolina last night and it seems that Pete and Lane would not take no. Having said that, it's there job but I've heard too many recruits say they were Pete's number 1 recruit to buy all his lines.

Having said that, the dude can recruit.

I figure LJ will have OVER 50 offers by the May evaluation period.....congratulations to him.....I saw first hand Sunday WHY all the hype in March.

Offers are always good to have, no matter how many you get. Same would be true if you were applying to a school and then suddenly got an academic scholarship in addition to your acceptance.

It also helps the local high school where the man is playing at, as it also gives recruiters and opportunity to look at other kids, too, though STA no doubt gets visited heavily.

The only difference with Lamarcus is that he actually probably is their #1 guy. I think he's most people's #1.

#7 OUT OF many players in the country is awesome. And 5 stars at that is really doing it. I was disappointed in the ranking though. I was pushing hard for him to be in a great spot but the rivals talking about they'll fired if they did it. It would have been perfect. He's earn it, I wanted them to really listen to me. I tried hard to get it for him but it didnt work So they went ahead and gave him 5 stars instead of 2 stars. I was pushing for 2 stars bad. I know LJ would have been sooooo damn pissed and worked out liked a maniac lol..He's already going to give to De'Joshua Johnson. He's has an article on flavarsity.rivals takling about he beat Frank deep one time but the ball was under thrown....I read that and was like huh? LJ never went up against this dude ever, and he said LJ corner skills were weak. LJ promises to cave his freaking chest in this weekend. That dude Johnson only weighs about 125 and only like 5'8. i feel bad for that guy.. let gone head and donate a lil right now to buckeyeplanet..RIP De'Joshua Johnson

That's absolutely hilarious. Someone should tip the kid off so he can avoid LJ at all costs.
