Under Armour All-American cornerback Lamarcus Joyner (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Saint Thomas Aquinas) made an unofficial visit to Florida State recently and the Seminoles, who have long been thought to be the team to beat, likely regained the top spot on his list. According to an interview that Joyner did with ESPN affiliate NoleInsider.com, he was extremely impressed with his time that he spent with Florida State head coach-in waiting Jimbo Fisher and the way that the Seminoles' coaching staff explained their depth chart at his position.
"Like I've said before, there is a difference between a team that wants me and a team that needs me," Joyner said.
He went on to call Florida State his dream school. This is not the first time he has said that about the Seminoles.
Ohio State is also strong here. Joyner will make an unofficial visit to Columbus for the Ohio State spring game this coming weekend. His reaction to that trip will be significant as it appears Florida State has made a strong push back toward the top.
Among those who will be in attendance is blue-chip defensive back LaMarcus Joyner of Fort Lauderdale (Aquinas), Fla. He already has been offered by almost every major program, but he's making his first visit to OSU and reportedly is extremely impressed with what he's seen so far.
