Boise State will win as long as the teams they are facing can't score 50 and don't have the players on defense to play man to man all day long.

In other words, they'll destroy everyone in the WAC but Hawaii and Nevada and lose their bowl game if it's Ohio State, Alabama, Auburn, LSU or Wisconsin.

The announcers are blowing Boise St so much it took 3 replays for them to mention the alert block by the La Tech guy that allowed that pooch punt to get to the goal line.

There is nothing lovable about this program.

  • They have lawyers on retainer to start flinging lawsuits if they don't get to the NC game.
  • Their president has demanded that the NCAA mandate the big schools give them home and home series. At the very same time, he's big-timing his own in-state rival and pulling out of their traditional home and home series.
  • Nebraska was willing to give them a 2 for 1, but the deal fell apart because Boise demanded a million dollar payout for visiting Lincoln.
  • The bull[censored] blue turf.

the "people are scared to go play @ Boise!!!!" argument always makes me laugh

nobody is scared...........nobody wants to lose a shitload of money traveling to bumfuck Idaho to play in a 32,000 seat stadium (20,000 less than freakin Indiana and 15,000 less than Northwestern for comparison)
