If he stays at TE, he reminds me a little bit of Brandon Pettigrew. Big body, great blocker, and great on the under 10 yard pass game. But won't be able to stretch the field in the passing game as much.

I'm more so comparing to the NFL player. Can't speak as much about how he was used in college.

Big fan of this pickup. I've liked Josh since I first saw his film. Those I trust are saying he probably doesn't have the frame to be an OT eventually. Which is fine by me because Josh is a fantastic TE prospect who can really help OSU in the run game.

I will say that our newest BOOM had a really strong night tonight. He'll end up being a really good OT.

My understanding is this comment was about Alabi...not Moore...which would make sense considering Alabi worked out and Moore did not.

Agreed. Most of us in the stands initially thought he was Torrance Gibson, primarily based on all the attention he was getting from Coach Meyer (and with the rumors that Gibson wasn't planning to work out).

That was always my question mark, I had trouble discerning that from the pictures I have seen of him. And a blocking TE would be just fine considering that neither of Baugh or Hubbard are what you would consider a blocking TE. Although we all gripe about not throwing to TEs enough (myself included), our run game has benefited substantially from having guys like Ballard, Heureman, Fragel, etc. on the end of the OL.

I don't think you see two TEs in 2015. Two in 2016 is more likely at this point.

I remember seeing some pictures of Kirk with Alabi from FNL, which would back-up your understanding as well.
