Krispy Kreme is still packed with trans fat.

3.5 grams per doughnut. I am trying to give them up, or cut down significantly (even more than I already have).

I would appriciate if all of the BP members would join my campaign to try to get Krispy Kreme to make healthier doughnuts.

Thanks.
Are you Crazy? that would ruin them!

Color me confused by the oxymoron of "healthier doughnuts."

It's fried SUGAR AND FLOUR AND FAT.

Not so fast, they took trans fat out of Oreos and Chips Ahoys and they still taste great. I realize that doughnuts are not health food, I simply am campaigning for them to make an effort to make them healthier. Other delicious pastries have gotten rid of trans fat and they still taste good. Even Kentucky Fried Chicken has taken out the trans fat without changing the taste.

I would greatly appreciate the help in contacting Krispy Kreme.

Thank you.

Most food companies are making the transition to non-trans fat cooking.
It basically involves using a vegetable oil like canola.
The upshot could mean a reduction in heart disease.
I'm sure KK has looked at it.
