Kornheiser no longer doing MNF.

PTI will probably be better off because of this move.

This is what makes me happiest. I've become pretty good at tuning out the guys talking. I have Mike Patrick, Joe Theisman and Paul Maguire to thank for that ability. I like PTI a lot.. Dan Le Batard is a worthless individual who has no place in the media, especially on a show that's actually pretty good like PTI.

Be interesting to see if Chucky can keep his ego out of his commentary. He has enough knowledge to rival Jaws as a color analyist, but I could easily see him interjecting his own record with every situation that arises too.

Apparently someone else doesn't like him either.

I'm liking this new MNF booth. The subtraction of Kornheiser has made Tirico & Jaworski better - they don't have to waste any time riffing on the muppet's stupid bullshit anymore. Gruden is bringing the goods so far as an analyst. Listening to this booth reminds me of when Dick Vermiel used to call college games. I became a little smarter about football everytime I heard him speak.

Gruden might be able to get a good coaching job in college or pros next year, but he might be wise to stay in the booth. He already has a ring, and with the retirement of John Madden there's room for a knowledgeable person with a big personality to become a star broadcaster.

Are you saying he's not going to get to coach against the Raiders in the Super Bowl again.
