our kids enjoy Cheeseburger in Paradise over by Mill Run, although that's a bit of a drive from the zoo, depending on where you're coming from. It's like 12 miles from the zoo

Taking the kids to the zoo this weekend. We're meeting a couple we've known for a while and want to take the kids somewhere they'll enjoy. I was looking for something like Rainforest Cafe, T-Rex, etc. Something where it is overpriced and the food is mediocre but the atmosphere dumbfounds the children. Any ideas?

I think it was two years ago that is passed the San Diego Zoo to become number 1
