Tough to watch Bill Snyder's postgame interview. Don't really have a rooting interest in KSU, but I kinda wanted a title for him this year.

"Poor soul, the strain was too much for him to bear."

I took one look at Snyder as KSU took the field and I thought about all the times that he brought his team to this point, undefeated and highly ranked. National title talk. And I was thinking, we know this guy. Every time they blow it and every time it is against a team that is excellent on one side of the ball but manages to put it together on both sides for one night. It was 3am and I went to bed expecting him to lose a close one to Baylor.

We knew this guy. No one should be surprised.

All the times? Um...it's only happened once before in the history of K-State football. 1998, to be exact.

They used the same refs from the B1G that year to get away with this:

Thought they had earned the right to go to the big dance cause they had finally beaten Nebraska after like 30 years that year. Then they got pimp slapped by Texas A&M in the Big XII CG, and went to the Alamo Bowl, and lost.

That 98 team even had Jamie Foxx's cousin, Michael Bishop, at QB. Didn't matter.

So, as far as him being used to being where he was last night? Fraid not. In fact, they've only, as far as I can remember, have played in ONE BCS bowl game. And that's when you guys beat them.
