Besides addiction being considered an illness, there's probably 2 reasons this isn't happening:

1) NFLPA
2) An army of lawyers more than happy to sue the NFL for (alleged) violation of his rights

Somebody in the KC organization needs to talk to Mahomes and tell him his family and girlfriend need to STFU on social media. People are beginning to HATE him because his mom and girlfriend are shreaking c-words on social media blaming everyone and everything but Pat for his and the Chiefs problems.

I remember how much everyone hated Kurt Warner's wife back in the day. I lived just outside of STL when all of that drama was going on and it was brutal. People could not stand her and that was before social media. This is the same thing except now these loons have a platform.

Are there any good examples of parents/family talking shit on social media being positive? It only causes problems. You'd think they'd let their golden ticket do his thing, but apparently being a Super Bowl winning MVP on pace to be the greatest statistical QB of all time isn't enough for these dumb fucks.

I really like Mahomes though. His brother makes me physically uncomfortable.

I live in NE now, so I'm surrounded by Chiefs fans and Mahomes gets a lot of exposure around here. He seems like a genuinely likable dude, but his dumbass fiance and family are turning people, including many Chiefs fans, against him. These attention whores feel like they need to be a part of these players' "brand", and it never goes well or comes off as anything other than excuse mongering. If your son/brother/boyfriend can't handle public criticism, he should go work a normal job where he isn't paid 8 figures to play a game.

Side note: They can make all the excuses they want for him, but Mahomes has played poorly quite a few times this season. His OL isn't helping him, but he's made some pretty questionable decisions at times. And his little "support group" seems to enjoy throwing his teammates under the bus. That oughta go well in the locker room.

Mahomes' ball & chain sprayed champagne on a bunch of people who then got irritated. So she went to twitter and said something like "I wish I could live my life without being attacked" or some stupid bullshit.

I wonder how Pat feels that his historic performance is being overshadowed by his dumb-as-fuck family AGAIN.

Just another reason I can't root for KC. frank clark & tyreek hill being 2 other reasons
