Kadyn Proctor (OL Alabama, transfer to Iowa)

Rumored flip to Oregon :yow1:
Ferentz has to be on the hot seat with this season, and it doesn’t help to lose a kid of this talent in your own backyard

5-star Iowa commit Kadyn Proctor in Eugene for Oregon vs. Washington game

I can now report that 5-star OT Kadyn Proctor, a verbal commit to the Iowa Hawkeyes, is in Eugene for the Oregon vs. Washington game on Saturday afternoon.

This report was kept on the low in the days leading up to the contest.

Proctor, who stands at 6-foot-7, 330 pounds, is ranked as the No. 1 offensive tackle in the 2023 class, and the No. 7 overall player in the nation.

The Ducks were originally part of Proctor’s top-7 less than a year ago, but he eventually trimmed it down and left Oregon on the outside before committing to the Hawkeyes, his home-state team. Despite that, Dan Lanning, and more importantly, Adrian Klemm, never let up, and they’ve been working hard to get Proctor back on campus this season. It just so happened that he is coming to the northwest for the rivalry environment of Oregon vs. Washington.

It’s hard to say how strongly Proctor is considering a flip to the Ducks, or even considering opening up his recruitment once again. However, the fact that he is taking a visit for this game isn’t nothing. We will keep a close eye on this going forward.

I'll say the only way he'll flip to Orgon is if the Ducks make him a NIL offer that he can't refuse (and Iowa won't match).

Snake Oil Salesman, but mayhaps that is what it takes to build a program up from zero.....He was sincere, until he was not, and grabbed the brass ring....but, can you really blame him?
He's not really much different than most CFB coaches, they're pretty much all snake oil salesman who would leave for more money and a better opportunity. Loyalty is a four letter word in coaching. What was that Eddie Murphy joke from Raw: A man is as faithful as his options. Apply that to coaches
