edit: oh and by looking thru the pics. I will say this. Kurt Coleman is going to kill some people at Safety this year.

Nate Williams is going to fill in nicely for Gholston as the team's freaky looking DE.
What's he going to look like in 2-3 years?
Tribes within the team
Ohio State's annual photo day was tonight. I can't and won't give you a comprehensive report on how everyone "looked" like some fans seem to want....to me, they're all big and muscular.
Plus, this is one of two days all season (the other being at whatever bowl game they play) that reporters can walk up and talk to any player they want.
So, wise strategy calls for one to go talk to the local walk-on you might never get to interview again, or whichever players are under clouds -- grades/discipline/miscellaneous trouble -- that you'd like to clear up.
But I did notice an interesting twist to the usual routine of taking a team photo followed by position photos.
Tonight, guys were called over to take a shot by geographic area of origin. All the central Ohioans, for example, got a group photo -- guys like Mike Adams, Rocco Pentello, Jim Cordle and Bo Delande.
Then it was Cleveland-area players, then Florida guys, then Pennsylvanians. Cheers went up as the next groups were called. I wasn't sure if this was photo day or a Civil War army roll call: "102nd Rhode Island!"
