Flowe has a prototype inside linebacker frame at a rock-solid 6-2, 225 pounds. He has a powerful lower body, and plays with maniacal effort and passion for the game. He has good straight-line speed and has worked hard to improve his lateral mobility and ability to drop and cover. He’s a huge hitter and one of the most physical football players to come out of California in years. He’s relentless in how he plays, refuses to stay blocked and does a great job in pursuit. He’s tremendous getting in the backfield and making plays. Has rare timing and instincts. He can take on a block, disengage and make a play as well as run down plays going away from him. His motor and the edge he plays with really separates him from other linebackers. He has the ability to elevate everyone around him by how hard he plays and the emotion he brings to the field. His work ethic and leadership is unmatched as well. He projects as a impact upper tier Power 5 starter and future high-round NFL draft pick.

Just sayin':

1. Obviously 24/7 Sports got that review wrong. Just another example where the recruit's star rating does not guarantee success. Who were the 10 players ranked above him nationally you ask:

1. Bryce Young (QB) Carolina Panthers (#1 in NFL draft)
2. D.J. Uiagalelei (Pro QB) Loa Angles Chargers (undrafted free agent)
3. Bryan Breeze (DT) New Orleans Saints (drafted 29th overall)
4. Julian Fleming (WR)
5. Will Anderson (DE) Houston Texans (drafted 3rd overall)
6. Gervon Fexter (DT) Chicago Bears (drafted 53rd overall)
7. Kelee Ringo (CB) Philadelphia Eagles (drafted 105th overall)
8. Paris Johnson Jr. (OT) Arizona Cardinals (drafted 6th overall)
9. Jalen Carter (DT) Philadelphia Eagles (drafted 9th overall)
10. Arik Gilbert (TE)

2. Eight out of those 10 are in the NFL; sadly. Ohio State had one of the players that didn't make it.

It definitely happens. I remember when OSU landed 2 5star defensive players in 1 day in Jashon Cornell and Justin Hilliard. And neither panned out

You never know. Kinda like the baseball player that gets a $30 million contract, and never hits above a buck fifty. Remember him, he was going to be all that and a bag of chips. Also remember, tOSU got the #1 offensive and defensive players, and neither finished school (nor declared for NFL). A bunch of kids injured out, Mike Dandrea for one, forget many others. Believe there was an offensive player from Cinci, and a defensive player from Kentucky that never made it. Probably better memoried (is a word?) can do better than I can remember. But on the flip side, would bet vcash that there are more 3*s that drafted in first round, than 5*s that crashed and burned on the Buckeye roster. Hope it continues so.
