Off topic-

Does anyone else despise the use of the possessive pronoun in the phrase "our Bucks"

It makes you sound so sensitive and motherly... it just gives me the willies.

Hey! I'm a mod over there too and I have got to say all we (mods) can do is lock/delete/move threads or posts. I don't control access to the site, only Kirk and Bucknuts do.

i don't mind 'our Bucks' if you are an alum. i give slack to ohio residents past and present on this too i guess. i would hate to hear that phrase out of carpetbagging cunt karen holbrook though, she is not a buckeye despite the job, never will be either.

Personally, I'm sick of people throwing insults that don't apply towards Ms. Holbrook. :biggrin: Such as this ^. Sorry, BIATCH, but it just isn't enough. She truly sucks, and I honestly don't think words can honestly describe how much.

I just say "us" and I only use it because its my school. I would never refer to any of my favorite pro teams as 'we' or 'us.' That's a huge pet peeve of mine.

im with sloopy.....i always want to punch the people who say "we beat you" when referring to a college football game...."you" didnt do jack...."you" sat on the couch and watched XYZ team beat ABC team....
