This may not be popular... <HR SIZE=1>I think that OSU is loosing their edge in recruiting. OSU never received a bounce from the 28-2 record this far over the last three year and a NC. They have had no consistency when it comes to grades. Some kids they let slide like Reggie Smith and Darius Hiley, while others like Miles Williams, Wheelright and others are doing well at other programs.
To do what they did to Morgan and now this withe AMW is going to cost them. The stars are getting less and less. JT's best recruiting year was his first. He always says that you must progress, but I am not seeing it. Over time this will have an impact. I think that Conley's comments have backed up that things are not so organized.
Last year Michigan beat us with our own Ohio players, just like under Cooper. Now Smith is ready to leave. I am concerned at the direction of the program on a long term basis.
