Just wanted to share...

Honor&Glory

Paper,Rock, Scissors, Lizard, Spock!
MJ is my 5 year old daughter...Both of my daughters have been raised to love OSU. My 8 year went to her first game in 2003 and I can't wait to get my 5 year old to Columbus.

This is the email I just received from my wife who forgot to tell me this story and wanted to make my day...

MJ was talking last week about Braydon. He is the little boy in her class that she ?missed? when he was on vacation. Well this weekend she was telling me that she couldn?t believe that this boy in her class liked Michigan. I asked her who it was, and she said Braydon. I asked if that is the little boy she likes and she said ?I did like him but he likes Michigan, so now I don?t?.

I'm so proud that I think I may cry...

That's great!! Kids form opinions of what they do and don't like very early. I took my 7 and 9 y.o. daughters to Damon's last year for the scum game. My kids were the cheerleaders for the bar section. (Even though we were in a booth). It was awesome, I was so proud, too.

That's awesome. Not to steal your thunder, but I too was extremely impressed with the dedication of my son when I attended open house last week. They had to do this project entitled "About me: A to Z" where they told something about themselves for every letter of the alphabet. My son's: "...M is for Michigan. Michigan is my least favorite school. I hate them...O is for Ohio State. Ohio State is my favorite school. I love the Buckeyes...." Brought a smile to my face.

Nobody is stealing anybody's thunder! I love hearing stories like this...Buckeye fans are a breed above the rest. It's awesome! I still remember carrying my then four year old on my shoulders through the paking lot after the Northwestern game in 03 and having our own little "O-H, I-O"...before you knew it, every Buckeye fan within sound of her tiny voice was answering her before we made it to Lane.

God, I do love being a Buckeye fan!
