calibuck Too soon old, too late smart

Was ten years younger than the 60s team, and Dad had season tickets to the BBall Bucks. So I got to go to many, many games at St. John's to see Luke, Nowell, Hondo, Siegfried, Knight, Gary Gearhart, play. Cherish those memories. Still prefer St. Johns to the Schott.....Hondo was the defensive stopper, while the others gathered the points. Still amazed that he became one of the leading scorers in the NBA, for the Celtics. Still my favorite pro team. Great stories in the Citizen Journal and the Dispatch. RIP Hondo, bet he'll keep moving up there as well....

My first memories of Ohio State basketball are that national championship team. He was a great athlete and a role model for many. RIP
