Job ideas...

I need a job. I was, uh, relieved of my most recent duties not too long ago. My top two ideas right now are:

(1) Rich widow's cabana boy
(2) Cab driver

If anyone has any better suggestions, please, fire away.

I'm kind of going through the same thing... again. I was looking into becoming an independent contractor with FedEx. My brother in Law does it and seems to enjoy it. You basically own your own truck and route but contract out with FedEx. If you have the cash you can own multiple routes and hire drivers and create a nice little business.

How about a bartender?? Lots of money to be made if you work at the right bar.

Bartender is something I've wanted to do. A friend of mine suggested applying at a gay bar, thinking I'd get more tips that way. I'd clearly prefer the alternative, but those jobs seem hard to come by.

End up waking up in the morning wondering how you could get out of going to work?? That's how I was when I was working Collections...

VR:

Out of college I was offered a job with a columbus based firm that set up and ran promotions at bars, sporting events, radio stations, ect. I got to go see what they did and it looked like a blast, plus you get to work with lots of dumb hot girls. It didn't pay very well, but it was hardly work either. A lot of running around makeing sure things are done. I can't remember the name of the company, but I'm sure you can find it in the phone book. They had an H2 they drove around too. Sounds a little gay, but it beats sitting at a desk all day.

Other than that, see if you can be a private investigator. Go follow men around all day and try to catch them cheating, while their wives pay you and hourly rate plus expenses.

Don't know what kind of shape your in or if your into ball bustin work, but moving companies pay pretty good.

I'm trying to get a firefighter position and I'm working as a mover at the moment, not my ambition but it gets the bills paid.
