One of the best parts about Jim is that he seems to be at an age where he doesn’t have a desire to leave for an HC role. I could be wrong, but his vibes remind me of Coombs and LJ, where they just have a blast being a coordinator and teaching.

Im not knocking the guy, but I know how fans will be at OSU. And expect him to get 5stars out of the gate. Having Coombs still on staff can help greatly in recruiting

Watch some Oklahoma State recaps - you'll see some offensive players his defense went up against and their knees jerked, necks, hips, backs...if you are a fan of playing soft zone, you won't be happy.

If you're a fan of aggressive fronts and confidence in corners playing man, you'll love it.

Yes it sounds like we won't have any Changes till after Jan 1st. The question is what we do after there. Is a total shakeup is it one guy retiring and we moving people around and bringing a DC is someone not being renewed who the fuck knows

Really doubt it’s Barnes out. He did well enough in the chaos after Oregon and seems like a “Day guy” - Day has spoken very highly of him since he’s been on staff. I would lean Parker Fleming but something about that gives me pause. It seemed rushed when he was promoted, and it would be hard to reverse that decision so quickly when he wasn’t the issue this year.

Maybe an offensive coach is gone to even out the numbers?
