Sorry if this is "bashing" but I thought it was funny:

Offensive Coordinator Needed (Columbus, OH)

And the Bollman play chart:

Priceless.

We don't need a 35 pt pergame O. if we could control the clock and score 17 to 21 we will win a lot of games. Keep the D off the field and they will be fresh..it gets discouraging when your O continually goes 3 and out. Baby steps move the chains and take shots when they are there..hopefully the O staff got the message..if not more frustation for fans and players

The false starts probably happen every time we change the snap count, so the defense knows to go on 1 or else they'll be bailed out by a false start. BTW you can coach players into not false starting.

Agreed. Both the Miami and MSU games were very winnable. The D was gassed during the last scoring drive by Miami. Miami should have had only 17 points at the end of that game if we keep our D off the field longer. 12-14 points wins the MSU game, 17 points wins the Miami game. That should not be unreasonable for an Ohio State team.

Eddie George on Bollman:

Dispatch

Heisman Trophy winner Eddie George weighed in on his SiriusXM radio show this week as Ohio State prepares to play at Nebraska on Saturday. The former OSU running back ripped the team?s play-calling and offensive coordinator Jim Bollman.

?It appears to me that Bollman is out there, he?s totally exposed,? George said. ?It?s his offense to lose, and clearly he has no idea or concept what to do with them at this point.?
George lamented the poor blocking in the Michigan State game and the lack of a passing game.

?It?s tough to preach execution when you?re not putting them in positions to be successful,? George said. ?When I was watching the game and I saw Joe Bauserman trying to execute the read-option and get nowhere, there?s a problem. There?s a lack of understanding what his strengths and weaknesses are. He?s a pocket quarterback.?

George said he thinks Miller isn?t ready. He said the quarterback was looking at pass rushers instead of downfield at his targets. ?That?s a lack of trust,? George said.

Cont'd ...

My question is this, and maybe it's because I haven't paid attention during the games, but...
Who is on the sideline with the qbs and OL when the defense is on the field? Who is coaching them between series? I know the official OL coach AND the QB coach are in the booth so it's not them. I know I saw Joe B. on the phone during the MSU game. Probably talking to Sic.

What about the OL?

I'm assuming that falls to Peterson, who coaches the TEs but also works with the O-Line.

Big Ten Network analyst Derek Rackley doesn?t fault Bollman. ?I would say he?s doing a very good job with the hand he?s dealt right now,? Rackley said of Bollman. ?He doesn?t have the ability to use the playmakers they?ve had the last few years, or over the history of the program.?

Rackley advocates an offense that sprinkles in screens, reverses and short, safe passes, and occasionally throws a deep ball to keep defenses honest.

Just another "analyst" that obviously has no clue. He advocates Bollman "is doing a very good job" but suggests a completely different strategy. Brilliant!
