How many times have we run the wildcat since the last time a wildcat play broke for big yardage? 6? 10? 15? It's no longer a change of pace play when the defense knows 100% that it will be a run...they can put all 11 defenders within 6-7 yard of the LOS and no blocking scheme in the world can account for everyone.

Not only that, its less effective than other playcalling, even in OSU's ultra-conservative offense. If your gonna run a play that doesn't work, I'd rather them try something that works - a QB speed option or the like. Its like Tressel said when he was coaching 'We have a wildcat package, its Terrelle Pryor at QB.'
