Sad that 66% of Buckeye fans are morons with no appreciation for tradition.
My neighbors watched the rest of the game after the Hawaii game was over, and their first comment was "Why are they wearing black?" After explaining that Ohio State caved into the recent fad of virtually everyone wearing a black alternate uniform, they then made comments about "Where's the gray?" and "It would look better with those silver pants and helmets". Even my local Hawaiian neighbors knew better than some on this board...
Ignoring the fact that "silver" is not one of the Buckeyes' colors.
Thank you Nebraska for letting us borrow your BlackShirts
I don't wear clothes, I'm a bear.
So ALL the players like them? How can you possibly know that?
Closer to gray than either black or white. Better tell the equipment manager to quit painting the helmets in silver metal flake...Ignoring the fact that "silver" is not one of the Buckeyes' colors.
Oh god, are you ok? Are they? I had no idea.My neighbors watched the rest of the game after the Hawaii game was over, and their first comment was "Why are they wearing black?" After explaining that Ohio State caved into the recent fad of virtually everyone wearing a black alternate uniform, they then made comments about "Where's the gray?" and "It would look better with those silver pants and helmets". It was Ohio State's uniform last night. Uniform means everybody wears them. Solid effort though. This is exactly the point. It's not Ohio State's uniform. It's someone else's. Which means it isn't a uniform at all, because it's NOT UNIFORM. It's a fucking costume.
I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of the "tradition" crowd.Closer to gray than either black or white. Better tell the equipment manager to quit painting the helmets in silver metal flake...
Silver is essentially a shade of gray.I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of the "tradition" crowd.
