Too much whining about this. Worry about the game!!! The PLAYERS like them. That's what matters. I see arguments from those who think the alternates should be left out of The Game, but let it go FFS.

Fuck off. The players aren't the ones Nike is selling them to. If people would quit buying this Bullshit, Nike would quit dishonoring 109 years of tradition to make a buck. I don't get why people are fascinated by them. If I have to tell a non-buckeye fan which team's Jersey I'm wearing, why wear a fuckin' Jersey at all. Just wear a silver and green shirt and say its a tribute to some Buckeye basketball final four team that advanced to the sweet 16 on St. Patty's day that year and save yourself $75.

I don't give a shit what they're wearing so long as it's not completely and utterly terrible. I don't care for the unis this year at all but I wouldn't buy an alternative jersey regardless of how cool it was.

It's at the same time every year (end of Nov), same stadiums for almost a hundred years, etc.... Part of that, to me, is the uniforms. Sure they've changed over the years, but not too much at once, and the leaves have been a constant since '68. As fucking ugly as they are, I think I'd be pissed if TSUN wore some "tribute"leather looking helmets to honor a time when they actually won national championships. I get why Phil Knight likes jizzing all over a rivalry he's insanely jealous of. What I don't understand is why some Buckeye fans help jerk him off.
