Just got off the phone with the Team Store. The same people on Friday who told me they were getting the authentics are now saying no. Nothing like getting misleading information. However, you got to think at some point that they will offer them online under game used jerseys for $300 like they do every year.

I'm sure this has been beat to death but here's one more lash at it.

If this throwback uni marketing garbage results in a ND green jersey type of jinx and costs OSU The Game I'm heading for Oregon and some greedy marketing fuck from Nike is going to wish he died as a small child.

The uniforms look fine, I don't care they aren't 100% historically correct its a jinx plain and fucking simple. We are up against trying for a 6 game winning streak and that 2000+ day billboard someone put up.

From a mojo point of view we need this uniform fiasco like Custer needed more Indians.

luckily for us they are talking some pretty serious shit up north which in my opinion levels the playing field in terms of any bad luck we might be going up against

Watching the 1981 game on Classic and I noticed something. The white jerseys have the same stripes on the sleeves as the scarlet jerseys...which is the same as the scarlet jerseys now. There were no gray stripes on any sleeves.

Brutus sure looked fucked up then, though. :lol:

This would forever be known as the "throwback jersey game" or something like that. It would be a feature of future rivalry documentaries. Worst case scenario, it could be pointed to as the game that "saved Rodriguez" or blah blah blah.

sorry but ur kind of outa luck. i heard earlier that the buckeye corner and college traditions on campus sold out saturday and im pretty sure its sold out at easton. sorry man. how bout you look on like ebay?
