The image I found online was scarlet tops with white pants, but yeah, we lost the snow bowl in Columbus.. I love that they just made up the connection to the programs history, as if we didn't already figure that out with the other "throwbacks" that were made up. I still think the closest one to a real throwback was the red tops/red helmets with script numerals.

The recruit/cutting edge line is dog shit too, as others have pointed out, Bama seems to do pretty well.

Who has the final call on letting NIKE do this shit? Please say Gene.. :lol:

But what's the point in having them if you can't show them all in the final game of the regular season ?
I don't mind all these faux 'rivalry' uniforms... just wish we'd stick to the standard against scUM.
If we're going to wear "all whites", we may as well do it to troll in Happy Valley.

Speaking of uniforms, and since it's Indiana we(a)ek; the Hoosiers coach, Phil Dickens, once put the Hoosiers in powder blue jerseys at home. His idea was to break the player's association with losing and their crimson jerseys. In 1962 they went to a throw back uniform, a a rather plain crimson jersey and those old khaki colored pants that were the staple of almost all teams in the 1910s.

This thread is a real treat to read through. If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's our love for alternate uniforms. In fact, I think we should start chanting 'O-H-A-U' around the stadium instead of the same ol' tired junk. We've got to change with the times, man! We should probably find a new mascot to stay on top of the recruiting game.
