Would love to get the oversized numbers & pants with the sparkle in them back..generaladm;1819366; said:I fEAR NED.
For the record, this is the only uniform change I'd ever support:
Best uniform. Any sport. Any era.

Any of you who are so exercised about these unis has a simple remedy available - outbid Nike. Otherwise, unless you're willing to make up the funding shortfall yourself, learn to live in the real world.

At least we're not talking about "Practice"

With that said..
If the players like them, cool. I wish they would stop [censored]ing with traditions but it's not just Nike, look at Mirror lake.. no longer on Thursday. We aren't playing on the 3rd weekend in Novemember, etc. are bigger breaks from traditions then wearing a throwback, IMO.
This jersey Saturday is legit throwback - and I am a fan. I think it's very cool they had a former player from that team help design it, and if the players dig it, I'm down.

COLUMBUS ? For the second straight year, Ohio State will wear special uniforms when it plays against Michigan.
Ohio State was one of 10 teams chosen to wear special uniforms designed by Nike. The Buckeyes' design this year is geared to salute the Buckeyes' 1942 national championship team, which includes a scarlet helmet instead of the customary gray one.
"They look kind of sweet," senior defensive end Cameron Heyward said of the helmets. "It's a different thing. You don't always get a chance to do this and when you do you cherish it."
Said Brian Rolle, "The helmets are awesome. I love our gray helmets, but those red helmets kind of stick out."
Besides the scarlet helmet, the uniforms ? called the Pro Combat Replica Rivalry 1942 Throwback Jersey ? includes scarlet tops with white numbers outlined in black. The pants are solid gray.
To a man, the special uniforms got a thumbs-up.
"To be able to come out here and do that again and be able to have another jersey hung up on your wall and stuff, it's really neat that they're doing it," senior Dexter Larimore said. "It really shows how much Nike cares about us. I think it's great to be able to be a part of that."

Glad this means so much to the players, who IMO are the most important people to please in this whole ridiculous conversation.
