Jersey / Uniform Discussion (OSU)

I like the uniforms, but I wish they could wear their normal helmets. There is something about those silver helmets loaded with Buckeyes that I really enjoy. Plus, those guys work hard to get all those Buckeyes and they should be able to show them off in the scUM game.

This x100000000

I would be so much happier with the uniforms if they would put the Buckeyes on the helmets.

My 5 year old son almost brought a tear to my eye today. I showed him the unis that the Bucks will wear on 11/27 and he looked at me and said...

"Why are they going to wear those red helmets? I like the gray ones."

My question back. "Why do you like the silver ones?"

"Because that's just what Ohio State wears. That's how I know it's them."

Good Boy.

My assumption is that they are knock offs. Most companies that sell jerseys early or for real cheap get kits and sew them on their own then sell them.

Just took a look at them and compared them to the ones at the reveal. The sleeves are different. The border on the ebay ones are a black/blue and the one in the ohio state reveal and nike site are light gray. And no 1942 in the neckline. I wouldn't buy one of those. I am a stickler though. I'd pay the extra money to get a real one from the store.

well, apparently these sellers on ebay are trying to sell "authentic" jerseys. i called both nike and the buckeye corner today and neither one of them have any records showing that authentic ones will be sold to the public. with that being said, the ones being sold on ebay are knockoffs.

My assumption is that if you want an authentic you need to be in NY for the Thanksgiving release of the lockers with a helmet and shoes like last year or be prepped to buy one for 2k.
