Jersey / Uniform Discussion (OSU)

If you read what was posted the unis were done with a former buckeye player from the team.

If you're referring to the article posted that's not actually what it says. From the way it reads it looks more like they just found/hired a spokesman from each team for the press release.

Personally, since Chuck Csuri is involved with the use of these uniforms, I'm not going to whine about what they look like.

As a two-way tackle, Chuck was the team MVP in 1942, and was elected team captain in 1943, but a little thing called World War II caused him to miss that football season. He was awarded a Bronze Star by the Army for his heroism as a field artilleryman during The Battle of the Bulge.

Since earning a masters in art at tOSU in 1948, he has been recognized worldwide as a pioneer in computer art and graphic design for decades. He's been on the tOSU faculty since 1949, and is still a professor emeritus that right now has an exhibit showing in downtown Columbus.

I haven't seen them yet, but I think if they're OK with Chuck Csuri, they're going to be OK with me.

2010 Nike Pro Combat System of Dress

If you go here, you can Kind of see the design of the jerseys on each player. I am guessing that ours is the fourth from the left, You can see the number on the jersey is 22 and it is rounded...

OR, somebody could just post up either the player name or the picture they put on facebook....

I don't see anything... just outlines of players.

Maybe tilt your monitor or adjust brightness settings. You can see numbers and other random things, just not in color.

I don't think our jersey is fourth from the left.. I'm assuming it won't be white this year, considering we're at home. But I guess we shouldn't rule anything out with Nike.

I mean fourth from the right... the number 22, fourth from the left number is 75

I raised the brightness in photoshop, it is obviously pretty jagged, but it's something I suppose:

Thanks, It looks like they moved the sleeve strips to the undershirt, which would be accurate... I think they have potential.

-edit that was 5th from the right. Which I hope is OSU's.

That is the first positive leak I've seen. I'll eat crow if they actually made real throwbacks, and would probably be a fan of them. I just wish they were more of a special event, like for the 100th installation of The Game instead of an annual money grab.

Do you, or anyone else, know what Chuck Csuri's number was?
