Jersey Scrimmage Breakdown & Play-by-Play

Did Welch do anything today?

Also, how did Antonio Smith look.
Welch was a 3rd/4th teamer... his PT will come at gunner imo.

I just gave smith his own slot under who 'stood out' because he definitely deserved it.

A Smith: surprise of the day, looks like another good OSU db... you wouldn't imagine he was a walkon until this year. Did a very good job covering Ginn all day long, never being out of position and kept Ginn from picking up YAC on quick hitters.
that #8 kid
was in 1st grade

I don't like all the bad snaps and bad holds in the kicking game.

But, I guess OSU has never really had those type of problems when the season comes. The snap and hold on our kicks the last few years have been solid, so I expect things to be corrected. Good to see the Kickers doing well though.

nice write-up

I do believe we had some issue with that last spring, and it turned out okay. Also Trapasso and Norman were surely not the only guys holding/snapping.

I guess its wrong that I say I'm surprised, but Welch before was the better corner than Smith. That is why I'm surprised in how good Smith is performing and him getting the starting spot.

I will say that Welch was having grade problems before. Which may or may not be why he is so low in the depth chart.

I'm happy for Smith tho, he is really showing me something. I always believed it would be the other way around, Welch starting and Smith being where Welch is now, low on the charts.

Good for Smith.

Thanks for the write up, don't worry... your fingers will thaw eventually

I also like that the kickers are sounding good, the holding thing will work itself out with more reps.

It sounds as though the defense is improving faster than some of us might have thought.

Thanks a million! Very nice write-up.

thrilled to know both D and special teams are doing fine.

Inconsistent QBs do not concern me much. It's still too early. But I do hope the coaches pick the one to back TS up based on performance, not seniority. No intention to bash JZ, but his decision making bothers me a lot. And I wish TS goes through this season without any injury to moot the point of a back-up QB.

make sure to check the top of the thread, I have added a few things:
- Added a link to rep Ratboy18 for the help on getting to the game.
- Added a few individual writeups that I left out before
- Added a few conclusions

thanks guys, I know how much we all crave information from the limited-access buckeye camp and it was fun taking all of the notes.
