Re: I asked Aeschlimann the obvious question: in the movie, at least, does it do anything? Aeschlimann responded that the watch is beautiful, comes with master chronometer certification (meaning it’s highly precise), and can dive to 300 meters. Beyond that, it’s just a good, beautiful watch.“We at Omega want [the watches] to be as precise, as high tech, as incredibly well designed as possible,” he added, pausing for dramatic effect, ”to give time.” In other words, it doesn’t need a laser or a buzzsaw to meet the high standards of both watch collectors and the world’s suavest super-spy.

Just sayin': For $9K I'd want the laser and buzzsaw features too.....

Extra time for 'No Time To Die' tinkering

Baz Bamigboye in the Daily Mail is claiming the delay to the release of 'No Time To Die' may have a silver lining for the film's director.

In his weekly column, the tipster writes: "Director Cary Joji Fukunaga has plenty more time to give his 007 movie a really good polish in the editing suite."

"I’d heard very good things about the picture but he had been heard to say he would have loved a few more weeks to shape the film more. His prayers have been answered."

Tabloids claim Daniel Craig may now be tempted to a sixth film

One day after the postponement of 'No Time To Die', The Sun in the UK is claiming that the opportunity to reboot the marketing campaign has given Daniel Craig a change of heart.

According to the tabloid, he has asked the PR team behind the next movie not to “aggressively market it as his final Bond”.

A 'source' said: “I don’t think Daniel is finished with James Bond, despite his previous claims.

“He was in this same position four years ago after Spectre came out, where he said publicly and loudly that he was done and then, as time passed, he just wasn’t. There is something about this part that scratches an itch and he’s not prepared to see it go to another actor yet.

“It’s all going to come down to how No Time To Die is received by the public and if it can become the highest-grossing film in the series. If it does, I think Daniel will be good for one more movie. He’s hedging that bet by asking for it not be marketed as a ‘finale’."

Probably being naive, but didn't Craig/Bond die, after being fatally irradiated, and then sitting at ground zero for a massive missel attack? I know the wonder of Hollywood, but even James Bond 007 cannot overcome that one....maybe unless he's Bobby Ewing...

Yeah and I wondered about that too.
