Javier Bardem is the villain. Ralph Fiennes is also involved.

And of course, the most important part...

I hope they try and make this one good. The last Bond that was good was Goldeneye

Goldeneye was good.. but I think Casino & Quantum were about the best since the end of Roger Moore's turn as Bond.

my dad an old school Bond guy didn't like the new ones... not enough humor for him and way to dark.

I know nobody else did; but I really liked Dalton as Bond and his 2 films, especially The Living Daylights:

The Living Daylights (1987-Timothy Dalton)
Licence to Kill (1989-Timothy Dalton)

While Connery was the best Bond, I really liked Timothy Dalton as Bond. Roger Moore got to ridiculous at times, although "For Your Eyes Only" is one of my favorites, along with Pierce in "Die another Day". Craig is good and I like the rawness he brings to the movies.

Objectively Casino & Quantum are the best Bond flicks since early Connery...and by far the truest to the character as written by Fleming.

Subjectively I grew up on Roger Moore cheezebond and still have a crush on Melina Havelock (Carole Bouquet)...Lynn-Holly Johnson wasn't bad either (and that is completely weird because I just watched The Watcher in the Woods over Halloween).

The Living Daylights was good, but it was the first one I saw in the theater so it has a special place for me. License to Kill might be the worst of all Bond's. Goldeneye and The World is Not Enough were good, but Brosnan's other two weren't great. They did get way too much into special effects pre-Craig. Casino was really good, but I hardly even remember Quantum and the word 'Blah' comes to mind. Maybe it was the era of the movies, but Moore was my least favorite of 5 Bonds I've seen.

Well I guess I'll start this off... Mods feel free to move if necessary.

for me the list:
1. Connery - its really unfair he was the first and will always be the guy associated with the role, plus he was scottish like Flemmings character
2a. Craig - Personal preference for the darker grittier Bond
2b. Moore - had some good moments and some really funny ones
3. Lazenby - Only one film and it was a good one IMHO
4. Brosnan - Outside of Goldeneye, these were some of the worst Bonds... I'm seriously... a character named "Christmas Jones" just so you can use the "I thought Christmas only came once a year" line
5. Dalton - have just always associated him as the worst Bond

I routinely watch the first ten minutes or so of Casino Royale whenever it happens to be on. One of the best chase/fight sequences. I love where the black guy vaults through a narrow window at the top of a wall and the Craig runs through sheetrock like the KoolAid pitcher.
