It's from an Ian Flemming short story from the collection in For Your Eyes Only.

Oddly Bond is only peripherally associated with the original story.

Any idea where this is being filmed?

(I'm asking more for BP's equivalent of "Where's Waldo" than any other reason).

Besides that the articles I've read have said location shots will be in Italy, Austria, Panama, Chile and Peru.

The movie is supposed to start almost immediately after the end of Casino Royale as well...

The Quantum of Solace is actually a story Bond tells at a dinner party James Bond 007 :: MI6 - The Home Of James Bond ....also, the goon Milton Krest in Licence to Kill takes his name from the antagonist in The Hildebrand Rarity, another story in the same volume- I hope they don't use that as a title....

Not a big fan of the name, but I'm not too worried about it. If I like this movie half as much as I like Casino Royale, I'll be satisfied. Can't wait for it! Daniel Craig is probably my favorite Bond and he's been in one Bond movie. I love the guy.

Olga Kurylenko getting naked is one of the only legitimate excuses for watching the movie Hitman. Lots of killing and action is the other.
