Jameis Winston (QB Browns)

I want to see FSU destroy ND.

I don't want these guys to lose on the field. They need to be taken down by events off the field. They need to fall from the weight of their arrogance and their mendacity. College football needs that. You don't beat cheating with speed and power. You beat it with evidence and determination.

The very notion that a kid so immature as to commit the outrageous acts we know to be true while under a microscope would then have the self control as to not take one dime for his signature while lurking in the shadows is beyond preposterous.

Actually espn is pretty much the only "news" agency not investigating this. NY times, fox, abc, tampa tribune, tmz, and many more are all doing the investigating. Espn is just repeating their reporting.
They may be bringing it up on their "news" and talk segments, but there is a disgustingly strong lean toward making apologies for him, supporting him continuing to play, emphasizing lack of evidents, etc. I'd say their coverage is mostly lip service because everyone else is investigating it.

x3 Only original bit of reporting I've seen from ESPN was a ~3min clip called "Winston at a Crossroads". It talks about what a genius child he was and shows footage of notes he took on being a good QB as a child, complete with spelling corrections made by somebody in pen.

In other words: Don't ruin Winston's weeke-- I mean dreams.

He's going down with this ship. He either knows something we don't, or he is just a total arrogant ass. If (and that's a HUGE if) anything happens to Winston, I hope ol' Jimbo fries just as hard.

I think Jimbo is in the clear. He has plausible deniability for everything.
He's not the one that leaked police reports to Winston's lawyers -- and I'm not even sure that'd constitute a legal or NCAA violation ? He doesn't have proof that Winston got money.
Other people in the Athletic Department may eventually fry, and what he's doing is unfortunate imo... but Jimbo appears to be on solid ground.

In unrelated news......

Tallahassee Police are looking to find the dog that was allegedly stolen right in front of the 86-year-old victim.

Police say the woman is broken hearted that her dog "Feffer" is gone. She went to let her dog out around 8:30 p.m. in the Seminole Blvd and Booby Bowden area in Tallahassee when the dog was taken from her yard.

The woman was standing outside watching her dog, when an older gold Honda stopped on the road by the victim's home. Police say a a skrong male suspect lured the dog from the yard and took off before the woman could stop her.

This is actually a true story in Tampa the names and locations have been changed for comedy.

The Manziel strategy in action:

Florida State: No evidence Jameis Winston was paid for autographs

Head coach Jimbo Fisher defended his quarterback in a Tuesday news conference.

"He's never taken a dime for anything," Fished told reporters. "He's signed thousands of things. I mean, the guy sits for an hour and a half before a baseball game and signed and an hour and a half after a baseball game — I mean, there are thousands of things out there with his name on it."

Jimbo Fisher is a total fucking idiot. No wonder Jameis might be the dumbest football player in history of the game. They might be more delusional than even Ped Staters. Fucking ridiculous

He has shown a propensity to repeatedly make some very dumb decisions; and definitely has the potential to score even lower than Vince Young (i.e. a 6) on the Wonderlick test.

Which begs the question, why didn't he just pay for the crab legs from the stash of cash he got for signing all those autographs?

Obviously he can't answer as the "c̶a̶t̶s̶ crabs got his tongue".
