-compared to Jeff Okudah
-had 8 interceptions as a freshman
-Ohio State only offered two months ago, he hasn’t visited Ohio State yet
-Tony Alford handles recruiting in Florida for Ohio State and opened the door in this recruitment
-Birm was told over and over (by his 7v7 coach) that this is a business decision that Singletary takes seriously and they don’t expect him to waiver on it
-influence of fellow Jacksonville area 5-star CBs a factor, both Shaun Wade’s success and Tyreke Johnson’s journey and what it reveals about the culture at Ohio State
-Sidebar from Birm: expects Domani Jackson to USC and Will Johnson to Michigan, mentioned Denver Harris and it being a tough pull from the “hometown” schools of LSU and TAMU

From this weekend’s Miami 7v7 top performers:

CB Jaheim Singletary, Ohio State commit – Singletary lined up at multiple spots in Burch Sports' secondary. He too is another long body that loves to put his hands on wide receivers and try to jam them at the line of scrimmage. One of Singletary's best assets is his ability to eliminate throwing lanes with his unique reach. Top-end speed remains a bit of a question with the five-star out of Jacksonville (Fla.) Robert E. Lee, but he does a nice job of not putting himself in bad situations and trusting his technique.

CB: Jaheim Singletary, the five-star Ohio State commit possesses everything you want in a cover corner from the length, hips, twitch and ability to run. On top of that the Jacksonville (Fla.) Robert E. Lee standout has a tremendous motor, completing erasing his side of the field in every game for Burch Sports. He was rarely challenged and gave up next to nothing.
