This is exactly the type of thing to which I referred when I said, "two years".

I have a South African colleague who was a faculty member at a B1G business school and who was part of a team representing then President Mandela in the USA a few weeks after he was elected. Nobody questioned his "British accent" when we visited Amsterdam News, sitting feet away from the typewriter of Malcolm X in Harlem. In Philly, a reporter did something like this to him. His response was scathing, essentially asking why he should not speak English properly, as other people do. Why should he pronounce ask as "aks", etc.? Why must he listen to music that degraded women, etc.

Something is going to happen somewhere along the line in Colorado and something like this is going to blow up.
