Another life lesson teenagers need to learn is that they are free to make whatever choice they want.

They are not free to choose the consequences of those actions. That they have to live with.

So if you want to play in the dark places where the bad people go and then egg them on, well that's your choice. Whining about those people and their reactions is a bad look.

Agreed with your point, AuTX. That said, his choice to play the righteous indignation/victim card is, to put it mildly, lacking in self-awareness. He wants to go to Clemson? By all means, he should go for it--that's his decision. But to make a spectacle out of it in the process, and then whine about how some of the lowest forms of our fan base troll him (and, guess what, Jackson, Clemson has those lowest forms of its fan base too, my man) is, as mentioned above, lacking in self-awareness. Just move on to Clemson already, "Jiant."

Part of the reason Carman chose Clemson was to antagonize Ohio State fans. Now Ohio State fans are pissed off at him and he's complaining about it? Right....

I don't wish ill on the kid at all. His most egregious offense was saying on twitter what the entirety of Buckeye Nation was also saying at the time. Not like he was taking 87 visits to other schools while being committed for almost two years or flips to a school that only recruited him for a week.
