He barely even had to look at it.
He designed Harbor Shores. That spot was originally fairway, and there were so many divots at that spot he redesigned it to bring the green all the way down that slope so people would stop hitting wedges there.
He was attempting to demonstrate the speed and angle required to get up and over the slope without the ball returning to that same spot. Hence why he didn’t line it up. The fact he drained the 102 footer was an accident, but also probably some muscle memory. Just a GOAT move though.
