JabriLLL "Ghost" Peppers (New England Patriots)

Maybe the best description I have read of his play on defense.

http://www.bloggingtheboys.com/2017...s-didnt-invite-for-pre-draft-visits-nfl-draft

As explosive as Peppers is, his fundamentals at the safety position need refining. He can take bad angles in the running game and is often times out of control. It’s like if you were playing pin the tail on the donkey at a child’s birthday party and blindfolded the fastest kid, spun him around persistently, and then let him run amok. That’s not going to end well for anyone.

Dilute tests are indeed positive tests
A dilute sample amounts to a positive test because the NFL and NFL Players Association jointly have agreed that a sample with a “specific gravity value less than 1.003 and a creatinine concentration of less than 20 mg/dL” necessarily is the result of a player who has tried to obscure a positive test by consuming large amounts of water prior to the test. Below the agreed levels, then, the NFL and the NFLPA presume that a deliberate attempt to beat the test has occurred

You know, Woody has a way.... I was just about to come in here and say that there's a difference between a Charles Woodson and a Gerbil Poopers. Chas, while a traitorous shit cocked hobgoblin, at least was a lock down corner, return man and gimmick offensive weapon, whilst Gerbil is just a fucking over hyped do nothing wannabe. And.. then... I come here and see Chas has been shooting off HIS dumb ass, whore, mouth... and I realize...... Michigan man gonna Michigan Man.

Fucking clowns. Fuck the whole lot of em.

Peter King continues the stream of scouts/columnists that can't seem to name ONE thing that GerbiLLL does well on the field, instead relying on the nebulous "he's a star" refrain that is so familiar with Peppers...

30. PITTSBURGH
Jabrill Peppers, S, Michigan
I’ll be honest here: I just want Peppers in the first round. The nickel/LB/PR is a star.

So, four months of scout/media trying to evaluate what GerbiLLL does that will translate to the NFL and make him worthy of being a first round selection has netted bupkis. The only tangible thing on his resume is a failed piss test at the combine. Sounds like a recipe for success.

I still argue there's never been a more fraudulent media creation than this dope. I know people like to throw out Te'O's name, but he at least was a productive college player. GerbiLLL was a good returner, gadget/decoy on offense, and extremely flawed defender.

I tried to make a Teo comparison a few times during the season....I just couldn't quite get it. You're absolutely right, though. He's Teo on steroids. It's like somebody saw the hype around Teo and said "I can one up that".

FWIW, somebody on the sxmradio this morning on mad dog (who seemed to know what he was talking about), said that the NFL set the dilution standard very high so as to avoid accidental positive dilution readings for somebody that was just trying to hydrate. He said you would need to drink something like 15-16 oz water bottles to get a positive dilution reading.
