JabriLLL "Ghost" Peppers (New England Patriots)

Heisman watch stat update:

After carrying 4 times for 11 yards, Peppers now has 21 carries for 161 yards on the season. He did not find the endzone and thus still has 3 rushing scores
Peppers had yet another game where he didn't catch a football on either offense or defense. He remains stuck at 2 receptions for 3 yards
He did not record any defensive statistics, leaving him with 49 total tackles, 11 for loss with 3 sacks
He had one kick return for 16 yards and now has 8 returns for 198 yards this year
He had one punt return for 19 yards and now has 16 returns for 276 yards this year, and one score.

So, he's got the following all purpose numbers: 47 touches 638 yards and 4 TDs

Let's see how this compares to Curtis Samuel....

Samuel has 80 rushes for 637 yards and 7 TDs

Oh.... wait...there's more....

He can also catch... unlike Pep.... and has 57 Receptions for 750 yards and 6 scores
He returned his second punt of the year for 11 yards, and how has 6 return yards for the year.

While Samuel had as many interceptions, tackles, tackles for loss and sacks as did Peppers yesterday, he remains 49 tackles, 11 for loss and 3 sacks behind.

All purpose totals: 139 touches for 1393 yards and 13 TDs

Two words, hater: FLEA. FLICKER!!!!

^ NOT ALL IN!!!!!!!11!!!1!!!1!

I've noticed this douche nozzle single out a teammate on at least a couple of occasions this season where he was expecting a block while he was trying to dazzle America with his athletic prowess and he didn't get it. He did it again last night late in the game. Heisman...:sick1:

You guys have seen how TSUN brags that more than half of the QBs that started against them did not finish the game this year. I hope our guys protest Barrett. And I hope our guys provide some more Peppers looking stupid moments and they block him into row 12.

I noticed vs Iowa jabrilll was spying Breathard at QB.

I bet this year they have Heisman spy JT so he doesn't make a guy miss and take it to the house like he did last year.
I hope they do. That would leave them even more vulnerable against OSU.

On a separate note. him spying JT does not prevent another bad tackle in space by Jabrill.

I can't remember a player getting this much hype that really does so little.

Check out the year Paul Hornung won the Heisman:

"Hornung began receiving undue praise in college because he played for Notre Dame

The “Golden Boy” built a name for himself thanks to playing for the media darling powerhouse that is Notre Dame. This is where he established himself as a “jack of all trades, master of none” player, which apparently people eat up.

America had just come out of an era of professional football where many players played on both sides of the ball. Sammy Baugh was able to dominate as a quarterback, punter and defensive back for the Washington Redskins.
...Yet, the Notre Dame media machine had us believe that Hornung’s versatility was something unique.

Look no further than his final season in 1956. After moving to quarterback, Hornung threw three touchdowns and 13 interceptions while also leading the Fighting Irish in rushing, scoring and various kicking categories. (rushing: 94 420 4.5 6 3 26 8.7 0 97 446 4.6 6)

It all led to a 2-8 season, which was Notre Dame’s first losing season in 23 years. Yet, Hornung won the 1956 Heisman Trophy, making him the only player to ever win it with a losing record.

What a farce. Tennessee’s Johnny Majors not only out-rushed Hornung by 129 yards, but he was a more effective passer, throwing five touchdowns and three interceptions. Tennessee was also a perfect 10-0.

Then there was the great Jim Brown at Syracuse. He rushed for 980 yards (6.2 YPC) and 13 touchdowns. Syracuse was 7-2, but Brown finished just fifth in the Heisman voting.

Of course, Hornung was Notre Dame’s Golden Boy, and no African-American would win the Heisman until 1961 (Ernie Davis). The voting criterion for the Heisman has never been well defined, but in any other year besides 1956, having a winning record was a prerequisite. Safe to say we will never again see a player on a team that won 20 percent of their games winning the Heisman.

Only Hornung. Only at Notre Dame."
By comparison, a 6 and 3 Ohio State Squad had two halfbacks with the following stats:
1 James Roseboro 152 712 4.7 5 4 82 20.5 2 156 794 5.1 7
2 Don Clark 139 797 5.7 7 139 797 5.7 7
3 Paul Hornung 94 420 4.5 6 3 26 8.7 0 97 446 4.6 6
